1. Who we are

RealtyPrep ("we", "us") provides an online study platform for the British Columbia real estate trading services licensing exam. RealtyPrep is an independent educational service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the University of British Columbia, UBC Sauder School of Business, the Real Estate Division, or the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA). Enrollment in the official UBC Sauder licensing course is required to become licensed; RealtyPrep is a supplementary study tool.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing an account is grounds for termination without refund.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Prices are in Canadian dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from your account settings and retain access until the end of the paid period. Lifetime purchases are one-time payments granting access for the life of the product.

4. Pass guarantee terms

Eligible plans include a pass-or-refund guarantee: if you meet every condition in this section and do not pass the BC real estate trading services licensing exam, we refund 100% of the amount you paid RealtyPrep.

4.1 Eligibility conditions

All of the following must be met:

1. Finish all 26 chapters, every quiz, and every chapter test before your exam date.
2. Log at least 30 study hours inside RealtyPrep during the 30 days before your exam.
3. Use RealtyPrep at least once in the 48 hours before your exam.
4. Email us your official result (a photo or screenshot works) within 24 hours of getting it.

4.2 Scope

• The guarantee applies to the Pass Plan (3-month) and Career Pack (lifetime) plans. The monthly plan is not eligible.
• It covers your first exam attempt taken after completing the program requirements above.
• One refund per student, per lifetime.

4.3 Verification and payment

• Email your official exam result to support@realtyprep.ca from your account email within 24 hours of receiving it. Proof of result must be the official notification issued by the exam administrator, unaltered.
• Study activity is verified automatically from your account's tracked chapter completion, quiz results, and study time. There is nothing extra to prove.
• Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days.
• Upon refund, access to paid content ends and the account reverts to the free tier.
• Fraudulent or altered submissions void the guarantee and the account.

5. Intellectual property

All lessons, questions, templates, and other content on RealtyPrep are our original work and are protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own exam preparation. Redistribution, scraping, or resale is prohibited.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to circumvent access controls, misuse the AI tutor, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

7. Disclaimer

RealtyPrep is a study aid. We do not administer the licensing exam and cannot guarantee individual results beyond the pass guarantee terms in section 4. Content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
